These extra-terrestrials in clusters of 6+ vertically and/or horizontally touching create winning rounds with a max payout of 1,250x (red alien). There are 4 more medium-paying 2-eyed aliens and 5 one-eyed aliens that are the lowest paying. The familiar cosmic artwork is relatively simple but effective and very colourful. An animated and floating three-eyed Gargantoonz hovers to the right of the playing area. The music and sound effects are playful and humorous, in sync with the artwork.
Mega symbols can appear on any round in sizes of 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, 5×5, 6×6 or 7×7, with cluster values of up to 13. When participating in a winning cluster, it is then removed, leaving behind a wild. Alternatively, the Quantum wild might be randomly added to the grid in groups of 5-10 on any non-winning spin. On the other hand, the Gargantoonz wild appears through the Quantumeter only.
The Quantumeter is charged by one for each winning symbol, while mega symbols add their cluster value to the metre. This metre has four charged levels and holds up to 100 charges. Reaching a level unlocks a feature:
Disintegration (25 charges) removes all occurrences of four randomly chosen symbols.
Metamorphosis (50 charges) transforms all occurrences of a randomly selected symbol into another.
Radiation (75 charges) adds up to 4 Mega symbols and 2-5 Quantum wilds.
Gargantoonz (100 charges) is a two-step feature beginning with all Mega symbols transformed into Mega Gargantoonz (at least three produced), not removed after a win. 2-4 1×1 Gargantoonz symbols might also be added. The Mega Gargantoonz breaks down into 1×1 Gargantoonz, removed as per normal.
